I thought I would just drop you an email to say what a fantastic job you did on the 28th of August at our wedding in Eaglesham. You guys were great and a lot of our guests have commented on how good you were. Stewart and I love our Scottish dancing and we wanted the dance floor to be big enough to get everyone up and we certainly managed that!! I don’t think the dance floor was empty all night.

Just a quick note to thank you very much for the excellent ceilidh music you and your band provided at Linda and Andy’s wedding.
We had been a little concerned beforehand that some of our guests might not participate in the dancing, but we need not have worried. The great Scottish music and the benefit of your ability to call the dances meant that there were times when there was hardly enough space on the floor for everyone! In fact a number of the guests, both young and old, have since commented on how much they enjoyed the music and the dancing.

When I told friends I was organising a Ceilidh they said I should do my homework as every ceilidh band is different. I was looking for a band with a bit of an edge and was not disappointed when I booked the Dave Mackay Band. They delivered what they said they would. We wanted a mix of ceilidh and disco to end the night. It was a great success, enjoyed by everyone, both young and old. Highly recommended.
